Verona, 5 October 2021. The art of pleasure in the glass and the search for balance. This recipe hallmarks the debut of Mixology at Vinitaly Special Edition (Veronafiere, 17-19 October) - a cocktail of experimentation, product quality and savoir-faire where some of the most talented and trendy bartenders get involved during the trade fair in master classes, insights and workshops, in the search new drinks based on wines, liqueurs and spirits.
Developed in partnership with Bartenders Group Italia, the new theme area offers professionals attending the Special Edition not only a chance to discover and try out current trends but also insights into an increasingly dynamic and lively market where the horeca sector is a preferential channel which - inspired by passion for alchemy in the glass - upholds the culture of "fine drinking" and finds a strategic ally in wine. And products by companies exhibiting during the show will precisely be in the forefront of the demo area and the “Banco Bar”, where visitors will be able to savour specially created cocktails.
On the training front, the schedule of master classes includes courses dedicated to Italian aperitifs, bourbon, soda and food pairing held by internationally renowned professionals and communicators.
Vinitaly Special Edition is an exclusively "trade only" initiative for business with itineraries and events for catering, hospitality, entertainment, wine bars and large-scale retail. This evcnt was created to provide interested companies, consortia and associations a chance to resume personal contacts with the Italian and international market. It aims to strengthen links between supply and demand in the world of wine in the run-up to the 54th edition scheduled at Veronafiere 10-13 April 2022.
With 15 years of experience in bartending and mixology, Bartenders Group Italia is also actively involved in training at important schools of cuisine, such as Alma.
