“Less is more” is the password of Micro Mega Wines, the Vinitaly's theme based area showcasing Italian highest quality estates devoted to unique grape varieties and/or terroirs and characterized by small volume wine productions.
Micro Mega Wines has several objectives, but, in particular, aims to give even to the smallest producers the opportunity to participate in the most important wine fair and benefit from a different, so to speak "tailored", visibility. Thenks to Micro Mega Wines everyone has the chance to discover the richness of Italian wine.
The project is designed by Ian D’Agata, one of the leading experts and among the main disseminators of Italian wine abroad, now director of the magazine Terroir Sense Wine Review. Ian will present these wines in dedicated events, with masterclasses reserved to trade operators, buyers and journalists, thus providing, with his unmistakable style, a still more in-depth look at the work of the cellars and at the characteristics of their wines and terroirs.
The Micro Mega Wines companies are true flagships of Made in Italy winemaking, impossible to reproduce outside national borders.
