After the special 2023 edition, featuring a masterclass held in collaboration with ITA/ICE Agency and led by the only Chinese Master Sommelier, Yang LV, Vinitaly returned to Chengdu in 2024 with its original format: the CFDF Fuorisalone, complete with a national pavilion and a series of top-tier masterclasses at the Shangri-La Hotel.

Ten years after the first edition of the Fuorisalone in Chengdu, Vinitaly returned to the Panda City in what is considered by observers the national reference fair for the wine and spirits sector. Italy ranks third as an exporter of still wine and second for the sparkling wine category.

As of December 1, 2023, Italian citizens intending to stay in China for a maximum of 15 days no longer require an entry visa.
