Born in Milan, a professional journalist with a Master’s degree in Political Science and a passion for the history of exploration. Since 2002, he has been covering the world of hospitality and its key players. He is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bargiornale, the leading magazine in the Italian bar industry.

He is the author of Cocktail Safari (Tecniche Nuove, 2016), a multidisciplinary journey through the history of cocktails illustrated by Andy of Bluvertigo, and co-author of Mai dire mai a un Martini Dry (Aliberti Editore), Impresa Bar (Il Sole 24 ORE), and the Bargiornale Cocktail Bar Guide (2026).

He is part of the creative team behind the Barawards, the most prestigious award in the industry, and Baritalia, a traveling event that brings together emerging talents and established Italian bartenders.

On television, he has been a judge in the finals of Mixologist (DMax) and hosted The Mixing Star Innovation Hunter, the first international documentary on bar trends, with over 5 million views.

Since 2005, he has been teaching in design courses at Poli.design – Politecnico di Milano, sharing his global experience in the lecture series International Overview of New Nightlife Venues. He has contributed to the curation of Super Bar (Milan, 2013) and to the creation of Super Bar Professional (São Paulo, 2016), the first Brazilian bar show.

For three editions, he hosted Baritalia Hub, Bargiornale’s bar show dedicated to Italian professionals. A member of the Think Tank, an international group of beverage experts based in London, he has collaborated with publications such as The Cocktail Lovers (UK) and Fine Drinking Magazine (Greece). He is also a member of the Drinks International Bar World 100 Academy.

In 2025, he was awarded the Order of Merit with the mention “Magister Dixit” for his ability to tell the story of the beverage world and its people with a brilliant, innovative, and deeply human style. This recognition highlights his talent for inspiring enthusiasm, giving voice to a vibrant community, and reshaping the language of an entire industry, making it more accessible, authentic, and contemporary.

He is currently a podcast author and creator of successful series such as Cocktail Story and Vita da Startender.
