The Power of Three: Yquem’s Legendary Trilogies (1988–1990 vs 2021–2023)

This masterclass explores the concept of the trilogy through six remarkable vintages of Château d’Yquem. The tasting will compare the historic trilogy of 1988–1989–1990, one of the most celebrated sequences of the late twentieth century, with the 2021–2022–2023 trilogy of the new millennium. Through these wines, participants will examine how style, vineyard management, winemaking philosophy, and climate conditions have evolved across more than three decades, while the unmistakable identity of Yquem endures.

The masterclass will be led by Lorenzo Pasquini, appearing at Vinitaly for the first time in his role as CEO, offering a rare opportunity to hear directly from the estate’s leadership about the evolution of Yquem and the future of one of the world’s most iconic wines.
