Micro Mega Wines really: not only excellent wines produced with native grapes all from Southern Italy, but also small companies participating in Vinitaly for the first time. In this tasting, we will therefore discover not only grape varieties, wines, and territories, but also many men and women who engage passionately in their daily lives and who will be a joy to discover together. Ian D'Agata will guide us to better understand more and less known grape varieties and their delicious wines from Cagnulari, Frappato, Nero d’Avola, Primitivo, Malvasia di Lipari, Zibibbo, and give us a chance to try rare wines such as the Primitivo of Basilicata. Both well-known names (Hauner, Vinisola) and less known (Al Feu, Aramusa, Galavera) will show us the way. It’s the sort of tasting that clearly showcases what is so exciting about Italian wines: many estates nobody has ever heard about and many grapes one rarely gets to try.
