This presentation invites attendees into the heart of Italianity, the culture of Italian wine, as revealed through a curated tasting along the country’s viticultural spine. Drawing on the themes and structure of the book, Italianity, this session is both a sensory experience and a cultural exploration. Through 8 emblematic wines, we’ll trace the geographic, cultural, and philosophical threads that unite Italy’s native grapes from the Alps to Etna.

Purpose:
To offer a fresh, deeply Italian lens on the country’s wines—not merely as regional products, but as expressions of a shared cultural identity. This is not a technical tasting, but a guided journey: through landscape, history, and the elements that make Italian wine Italian.
