Sake arrives in Italy not just as an imported product, but as a truly local production reality. In this masterclass, Lorenzo Ferraboschi, lead trainer of the Italian Sake Sommelier Association, guides the audience through a tasting journey to discover a unique product: sake made in Italy, produced by Nicola Coppe, the country’s first sake producer. During the session, participants will explore production techniques, the differences and similarities with Japanese tradition, the organoleptic characteristics of Italian sake, and potential food pairings. A rare opportunity to experience firsthand how one of the world’s oldest beverages is finding new expression in Italy, opening unprecedented possibilities for the Italian food and wine scene.
