Le Notti del Vino, the wine event of the Italian summer organised by Città del Vino

Le Notti del Vino (Wine Nights), which this year has become a national event open to all ‘Cities of Wine’ in Italy. Sponsored by the Italian Government Tourist Board (ENIT) and organised with the participation of the grass-roots organisations Pro Loco, the event will be held from 21 June to 22 September, promoting local wines and food&wine heritage. It engages 40 municipalities in Friuli and 300 plus wineries, with tastings, local speciality foods and cultural activities. In 2025, the event will grow further, with an additional 30 plus participating municipalities. The initiative aims to promote the local area, attract tourists and foster sustainability, involving protection consortia (Consorzi di Tutela) and businesses offering tourist accommodation.
