The 10th edition of Veronafiere and Vinitaly's wine selection will be held this year on Tuesday, April 7, Wednesday, April 8 and Thursday, April 9. During the three-day blind tasting, 60 international judges taste and rate the participating wines. This evaluative feedback testifies to the judgment not only of some of the most distinguished experts in the field, but also that of international palates.
Inaugural Ceremony of Vinitaly and the City 2026
The palace has belonged since the mid-17th century to the Balladoro family, who were active in the textile trade. In 1738, the Venetian Senate granted the title of Count to the male members and Noblewoman to the female members of the family, and the palace was rebuilt based on a design by Luigi Trezza.
The palace features classical lines and is distinguished by its arched entrance portal with rusticated masonry.
On the occasion of Vinitaly and the City, Trattoria La Pigna will welcome guests to a specially arranged outdoor seating area set up for a pleasant tasting experience. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to taste two wines from the winery Canoso, accompanied by a selection of savory bites. A convivial moment designed to enjoy wine in an informal and welcoming atmosphere, in the heart of the city.
OperaWine, Finest Italian Wines: Great Producers Selected by Wine Spectator, is the exclusive event organized by Veronafiere and Vinitaly, in collaboration with the American magazine Wine Spectator.
