IWSC has partnered with Veronafiere/Vinitaly for more than twenty years and thanks to this partnership IWSC will also cooperate with Wine2WineExhibition this year. Both organisations play an important role in promoting the wine industry and connecting industry leaders with producers through different activities. In fact, Vinitaly is the only fair that brings the Italian wine world together under one roof. Now regarded as a premier accolade, Vinitaly & IWSC have partnered for over 20 years to award Wine Communicator of the Year, which recognises someone whose communication skills have made an exceptional contribution towards the promotion of wine. This year’s winner of the prestigious accolade is the US journalist Elaine Chukan Brown. With over 50 years’ experience, IWSC awards are among the highest honours in the wine industry. Entries undergo a structured and rigorous tasting process done by renowned experts from across the wine world. A magazine for lovers of wine, culinary and other delights.
Vino magazine's target audience are lovers of wine, gastronomy and other delights. It is written in Slovene. Most of our readers subscribe to the magazine, but it can be bought in some vending locations in Slovenia (wine bars, wine shops, restaurants, book shops). Our readers and subscribers are well-to-do lovers of wine and culinary arts, wine-growers and wine-producers, owners and workers in the field of catering, hotels, sommeliers, oenologists, and company executives who in their business-associated activities feel the need to be acquainted with these themes as a part of general knowledge and culture. In the last couple of years Vino became one of the most established and influential Slovene medium in the field of wine and cuisine.Ocassionaly we organize promotional events with wineries, educational courses and workshops with wine and food related topics. Since 2017 we have also been cooperating with the Vinitaly wine fair, where we organize annual workshops centred around Slovenian wines in the frame of the “Tasting Ex... Press’’. Due to the situation, this year's Slovenian wine workshop is being organized at the Wine2Wine Exhibition instead.
Gilbert & Gaillard is an international multimedia group with a presence in 22 countries that focuses on promoting and recommending quality wines. Founded in 1989 by Philippe Gaillard and François Gilbert, its renown largely stems from the International Gilbert & Gaillard Challenge wine competition organised by Wine Tasting and Trading Ltd (Hong Kong) which awards medals to wines from across the globe. Gilbert & Gaillard is a long-standing partner of Vintaly and every year, François Gilbert curates a Champagne masterclass at the exhibition. In fact, in our opinion, the Italian wine industry is a major force to be reckoned with due to its quality, diversity and international reach. It is therefore our aim to support all significant events such as Wine2Wine Exhibition, which aligns perfectly with our international strategy.
