VIA Seminar: The Tastevinage Major, discovers 17 jems of Burgundy
The Château du Clos de Vougeot —headquarters of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin— hosts since 1950 the TASTEVINAGE, a rigorous tasting of wines from every corner of the Burgundy, from Chablis to the Beaujolais crus.
The Tastevinage aims to be of use to all wine lovers as a valuable landmark in the complex landscape of Burgundy’s terroirs .
To mark the 100th edition of the TASTEVINAGE, the MAJORS unveiled their first crop of laureates. 17 wines of outstanding quality were unanimously declared the jury’s favourites from the 1,045 tasted.
From Regional Appellation to Grand Crus, this tasting proposes to discover the hidden jems of Burgundy.
