NEW LOOK FOR THE CAPETTA PRODUCTSThe restyling of the three Piedmont wine lines was presented at VinitalyPavillon 5 – Stand E5

Capetta, a well-known Langhe winemaker situated in Santo Stefano Belbo (Cn) presents, in occasion of Vinitaly, its three completely renewed lines of Piedmont wines. The company, with the help of the SGA-Corporate & packaging design agency, has devised a restyling project able to convey the value of its wines and to communicate the elegance and classical taste of the renowned Piedmont wine varieties they come from. The renewal was both in the graphics and in the range of wine which make up the three lines. The shape of the new labels, the layout and clarity of information have a pleasant appearance and satisfy the consumer’s needs. The new packaging stands out for the nice labels with a strong visual impact, caused by the encounter between primary geometric shapes such as the circle and the square. The division in different colour patterns, aside from marking the bottles and making them unique, make the information easier to read for the consumer, and the restyling process also introduced a new font with a classical shape but modern lines, in accordance with the clean style of the new labels. The “Capetta” line, the company’s master brand, is modern and essential. The label, printed on smooth paper, has the Capetta name inside a square realised with opaque colours. The seal has the brand name on it. The line offers two red wines – Monferrato DOC Dolcetto and Piemonte DOC Barbera – and a white wine, the Piemonte DOC Moscato. The “Francesco Capetta” line, more classical, is characterised by a herald with the FC initials, and is made more essential and modern. The white background of the label is made more precious by an engraving which gives a material value to the surface, whereas the rhombus on which the Francesco Capetta name is reported is realised with a metallic colour. The heraldic symbol also appears on the seal. On the line there are also Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Barbera del Monferrato DOC, Dolcetto d’Acqui DOC, Dolcetto d’Alba DOC, the rosè Monferrato DOC Chiaretto and the white Cortese dell’Alto Monferrato DOC. The “Francesco Capetta il Fondatore” line stands out for its label with a more complex shape and its particularly precious paper; it has a high shoulder bottle, more important than the one in the other lines, to confirm the high quality of the wines it contains. On the seal, the name “Francesco Capetta il Fondatore”, on the front, is well visible. There are three DOCG wines composing the line: Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG and Moscato d’Asti DOCG. The restyling was done by SGA-Corporate & packaging design, a well known agency specialised in wine design which develops brands, labels and packagings and designs bottles and communication tools for different wine companies by following the concept that “Design is the meeting point between person and object and person, between consumer and product”. The Cantine Capetta company was born in Santo Stefano Belbo in 1953. Francesco Capetta, whose name appears in the three lines, started by selling bulk wine in an old farmstead, not far from the hills where he was born. The small company made its first leap in 1960, when Francesco Capetta introduced his first manual bottling line and started to build a warehouse for the whole production and bottling cycle of the sparkling wines. At the beginning of the Seventies the completely automated line for the production of sparkling wines was introduced. New expansions and constant renovations have taken place in the company up to now. With dedication and passion the new generations of the family allowed the “Capetta” brand to become one of the main protagonists of Piedmont winemaking, appreciated all over the world for the quality of its products and the enterprise innovation.
