| Wine is a symbolic product in the agricultural and agro-food "excellence" of Piedmont Production is characterised by the quality and special features of 11 Docg and 45 Doc wines boasting strong bonds with their respective territories of origin made using a large number of native grapes. These wines are known and held in high regard all over the world thanks to the traditional hard work of producers and are assured by laws, standards, controls and safeguards embracing the entire production system. At Vinitaly, this system will be represented by more than 600 exhibitors together with their economic and professional organisations and institutional attendance. Piedmont traditionally boasts strong involvement which, at this 42nd edition, is further enhanced by a stage set-up ensuring major communication and identification impact. Economic operators, journalists and visitors attending Vinitaly are all welcome to visit us in Hall 9 to discover the best wine-growing production from Piedmont, as well as an impressive programme of meetings, presentations, conventions and tastings that will be held in the institutional area of the Piedmont Region and Unioncamere Piedmont - an area that also acts as a centre for hospitality, information, promotion and services for all Piedmont producers.
