  • 3 April 2008 - 15.00/16.00
    Fontanafredda - Barolo Fontanafredda - Vigna La Rosa - vintage: '67 - '78 - '85 - '96 - '99 - 01
A vertical focusing on one of the great wines of northern Italy. "La Rosa" vineyard is in Serralunga d’Alba, with an area of 9.41 hectares. It is one of the most prestigious vineyards owned by the company and produces a Barolo with an impressive structure ideal for ageing. Located on hillsides (250-300 m above sea level) with south/south-west exposure, the site is myocenic-helvetian in origin and rich in limestone marls and clay, with plentiful quartz sand and good permeability.

  • 4 April 2008 - 15.00/16.00
    Poliziano - Nobile di Montepulciano Asinone - vintage: '95 - '00 - '01 - '04
Asinone was the first Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from a specific vineyard, so-named because it resembles the back of a donkey. Produced for the first time in 1983 (but only in superb vintages), this wine was known as Riserva Vigna dell'Asinone until 1990, then Nobile Vigna Asinone until 1995 and, since 1996 , simply as solo Nobile Asinone.

  • 5 April 2008 - 15.00/16.00
    Mastroberardino - Taurasi Radici - vintage: '68 - '70 - '80 - '97 - '99 - '04
In the two thousand year history of Aglianico, Taurasi - the wine from the 'vigne opime' of ancient Taurasia mentioned by Titus Livius - boasts a background of sequential vintages characterised by impressive style and personality. Radici, produced for the first time in 1986, is the result of long and detailed research into the exposure, chemical-physical composition and lay of the land. Impressive power, intense structure and concentrated bouquets are the most evident characteristics of this prestigious example of wine-growing in Irpinia.
